제2회 전미주 한인 장애인 체전, 메릴랜드에서 함께한 뜻깊은 시간

2024년 6월 14일부터 15일까지 메릴랜드에서 열린 제2회 전미주 한인 장애인 체전에
버지니아에서도 많은 선수들과 가족들이 함께했습니다.
이번 대회에는 미국 전역에서 한인 장애인 선수와 가족들이 참석하여
서로 응원하고 교류하며 화합하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다. 무더운 날씨 속에서도
우리 선수들은 테니스, 육상, 골프 등 다양한 종목에 최선을 다해 참여하며 좋은 성적을 거두었습니다.
1박 2일 동안 진행된 행사에는 선수와 가족뿐만
아니라 많은 봉사자들이 함께해 더욱 풍성하고 따뜻한
대회가 되었습니다. 지역을 넘어
한인 장애인 가족들이 한자리에 모여 서로를
격려하고 함께 웃으며
한인 공동체의 화합과 따뜻한 정을
나눌 수 있었던 소중한 시간이었습니다.
다음 대회는 2년 후 텍사스에서 개최될 예정입니다.
버지니아에서도 더욱 많은 선수와 가족들이 함께 준비하고 참여하여
또 하나의 특별한 추억을 만들어
갈 수 있기를 기대합니다.
2nd Korean American National Adaptive Sports Games
The 2nd Korean American National Adaptive Sports Games were held in Maryland on June 14–15, 2024, with many athletes and families from Virginia joining the event.
Korean American athletes with disabilities and their families from across the United States came together for a meaningful weekend of sports, friendship, and community. Despite the hot weather, our athletes gave their best in a variety of events, including tennis, track and field, and golf, and achieved wonderful results.
Throughout the two-day event, many dedicated volunteers joined the athletes and families, helping make the Games an even more memorable experience. It was a joyful celebration that brought Korean American families together from across the country and strengthened the spirit of unity and connection within the community.
The next Games will be held in Texas in two years. We look forward to preparing together and returning with even more athletes and families from Virginia for another memorable experience.
