올해도 VA KADPA 가족들이 버크레이크에 모여 따뜻한 봄날의 즐거운 피크닉을 함께했습니다.
특히 올해는 Fairfax County 경찰관들과 함께하는 특별한 시간이 마련되었습니다.
각 가정에서 정성껏 준비해 온 다양한 음식에서는 부모님들의 따뜻한 손맛을 느낄 수
있었고, 아버님들은 뜨거운 앞에서 열정적으로 고기를
구워 주시며 모두를 위해 맛있는 식사를 준비해 주셨습니다.
아이들은 경찰관들과 직접 인사를 나누고
경찰차를 가까이에서 살펴보며 직접 타보는
체험도 하면서 평소 쉽게 접하기 어려운
즐거운 추억을 만들었습니다.
맛있는 음식과 함께 신나는
게임과 푸짐한 상품도 준비되어 아이들과 가족 모두 웃음 가득한 시간을 보냈습니다.
또한 버크레이크의 아름다운 자연을
따라 함께 하이킹을 하며 여유로운
봄날도
만끽했습니다.
좋은 날씨 속에서 함께 먹고, 웃고, 이야기하며 가족과 이웃이 더욱 가까워질 수 있었던 소중한 하루였습니다.
함께해 주신 모든 가족들과 경찰관분들, 그리고 행사를 위해 수고해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.
2026 Spring Picnic – A Beautiful Day Together at Burke Lake

Once again this year, VA KADPA families gathered at Burke Lake Park to enjoy a beautiful spring picnic filled with food, laughter, and time together.
This year’s picnic was made even more special by the participation of Fairfax County police officers. The children had an exciting opportunity to meet the officers, explore police vehicles up close, and even sit inside them—creating a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
Families brought a wonderful variety of homemade dishes to share, filling the tables with the warmth and care of home-cooked food. Our fathers also worked enthusiastically at the grill, preparing delicious barbecue for everyone to enjoy.
The day continued with fun games and plenty of prizes, bringing smiles and laughter to children and families alike. We also enjoyed a relaxing hike around Burke Lake, taking in the beautiful scenery and wonderful spring weather.
With great weather, delicious food, and many joyful moments shared together, it was a truly memorable day for our VA KADPA community.
We sincerely thank all of our families, the Fairfax County police officers, and everyone who helped make this special day possible.
